Pymetrozine Scientific User Manual Chap.2

Corn ash planthopper, aphid:

It can be used for seed treatment (coating or seed dressing) and spraying during the growth period. For seed treatment, generally use 400-500g of 50% seed treatment dispersible powder or 300-350g of 70% seed treatment dispersible powder for every 100kg of seeds, dilute with appropriate amount of water and mix evenly with seeds or seed coating, then dry for sowing. Spraying during the growth period should be carried out in time at the early stage of pest occurrence, and the spraying dosage of pymetrozine is the same as that of "wheat aphids".

Cotton aphids:

Spray the pesticide from the initial stage of aphid occurrence, once every 10 to 15 days, alternate with different types of pesticides, and spray 2 to 4 times in a row. Pymetrozine is generally used per mu at 20 to 30 ml of 25% suspension, or 20 to 30 grams of 25% wettable powder, or 15 to 25 grams of 30% wettable powder, or 15 to 18 grams of 40% wettable powder, or 10 to 15 grams of 50% wettable powder, or 50% water dispersible granules, or 50% effervescent tablets, or 8 to 12 grams of 60% water dispersible granules, or 70% wettable powder or 7 to 10 grams of 70% water dispersible granules, and spray evenly with 30 to 60 kg of water.

Tobacco aphids:

Spray the pesticide from the initial stage of aphid occurrence or when the number of aphids begins to increase rapidly, once every 10 to 15 days, and spray 2 to 3 times in a row. Generally, 20-40 ml of 25% suspension, 20-40 g of 25% wettable powder, 17-30 g of 30% wettable powder, 15-25 g of 40% wettable powder, 10-20 g of 50% wettable powder, 50% water dispersible granules, or 50% effervescent tablets, 8-16 g of 60% water dispersible granules, or 70% wettable powder or 7-14 g of 70% water dispersible granules are used per mu, and spray evenly with 30-45 kg of water.

Spray spiky aphid and apple gall aphid on apple trees:

When controlling spiky aphid, spray the medicine in time when aphids occur in the early stage of growth on tender shoots or when aphids begin to transfer to young fruits, once every 10 days, and spray twice in a row; when controlling apple gall aphid, spray the medicine once each during the separation period of apple inflorescence and after the flowers fall. Generally, use 1500~2000 times liquid of 25% suspension or 25% wettable powder, or 2000~2500 times liquid of 30% wettable powder, or 2500~3000 times liquid of 40% wettable powder, or 3000~4000 times liquid of 50% wettable powder or 50% water dispersible granules or 50% effervescent tablets, or 4000~5000 times liquid of 60% water dispersible granules, or 5000~6000 times liquid of 70% wettable powder or 70% water dispersible granules for even spraying.

Pear psyllids on pear trees:

Generally, pear orchards should be sprayed once when 80% of the pear flowers fall and about 35 days after the flowers fall, which can effectively control the 1st and 2nd generation psyllid nymphs; then spray once every 30 days or so, which can effectively control the 3rd and subsequent generations of nymphs. That is, spray in time from the peak period of egg hatching of each generation of psyllids to before the nymphs are completely covered by mucus, spray once for each of the 1st and 2nd generations, and spray 1~2 times for each of the 3rd and subsequent generations, and pay attention to alternate use with different types of pesticides. The spraying multiple of pymetrozine is the same as that of "apple tree spirea aphids".

Peach aphids:

First, spray once when the peach buds are red, and then spray continuously from the time the peach flowers fall, once every 10~15 days, and spray 2~3 times in a row. The spraying multiple of pymetrozine is the same as that of "Apple Tree Spiraea Aphid".

Grape green stink bug, aphid:

Start spraying after grape buds or at the early stage of pests, spray once every 10 days for 2 to 4 times, and spraying with contact insecticides for the best effect. The spraying multiple of pymetrozine is the same as that of "Apple Tree Spiraea Aphid".

Jujube green stink bug:

Start spraying after jujube buds or at the early stage of pests, spray once every 10 days for 2 to 4 times, and spraying with contact insecticides for the best effect. The spraying multiple of pymetrozine is the same as that of "Apple Tree Spiraea Aphid".
